Sizing & Fit
How does "One Size Fits All" actually work?
My pieces are thoughtfully designed to fit and flatter US sizes 0 through 20. I craft each skirt as a classic wrap silhouette featuring a waist tie that threads seamlessly through a discreet opening. On a petite frame, my generous use of silk simply wraps a bit further around without adding bulk, while providing full, secure overlap for a plus-size frame.Because I cut the fabric on the bias, it naturally contours and drapes elegantly, creating a beautiful silhouette on absolutely every body type. I invite you to visit my 'Ways to Wrap' guide to see the generous sweep of the fabric and how gracefully it hangs on everyone.
What are the length dimensions of the skirts?
Because I craft every garment individually by hand, exact measurements will have slight, unique variations. Generally, the length falls between 30 to 32 inches. For my reversible skirts, I create an intentional 3- to 4-inch difference between the two layers, resulting in a beautiful tiered effect that showcases both distinctive prints.
Will the skirt blow open in the wind or when I sit down?
Not at all! To guarantee complete coverage and peace of mind, I intentionally use nearly three extra feet of fabric compared to standard wrap skirts. This abundant use of silk ensures your skirt remains gracefully and securely closed, no matter the breeze. For an even more secure hold, I highly recommend tying the waist with a double loop, a surgeon's knot, or a sailor's knot. You can watch me demonstrate these exact techniques in every video on my 'Ways to Wrap' page.
